This APRIL (25th), I’m hosting an in-person photography workshop in WEXFORD, more specifically in Kilmore Quay, home to, drumroll please the WILD ATLANTIC PUFFINS. And because everything I do is based around the ocean, this workshop will be too. We will start the day with a workshop which gives us time to go through camera set ups, showing you my camera bag set up, organisation, tools I use and some editing/post processing.
There will be time for you to ask questions as we go but also feel free to ask me at any point throughout the day.
The second half of the day will be on the water, instead of landing on the great saltee we will be doing a boat trip around the island, it gives a gorgeous and unique perspective of shooting the island from the water and seeing the puffins on the water.
order of events:
9am: arrival time, coffee/tea
9.30am: begin workshop, go through camera set ups, my workflow, tips and tricks, editing.
10.50: quick break
11: workshop
12.30pm: lunch
1pm: Leave
2pm: boat trip Kilmore Quay (this will go around the Saltee islands and is a lovely way to take photos of puffins from the water).
4.30pm: return

at this time of year seabirds have arrived back on the saltees to nest such as guillemots, puffins, shags and gannets. There’s a possibiity of seeing dolphins, rissos and/or minke on our boat trip.
