Bonfire cocktail

Inspired by a weekend of sitting around a fire, drinking whiskey and being in my back garden toasting marshmallows over an open fire. yeah I like whiskey, maybe because of my Dad forceful encouragement! you were always right Dad.

I love a good cocktail. usually sour or fruity, but an odd sweet and toasty tipple is not something I intend to turn my nose up to anytime soon.

Thanks to CLARKS for sorting me out with maple + for my little Jameson tipple. ssssssh don’t tell Dad.

whiskey bonfire cocktail

50ml whiskey

2tsp maple syrup

1/2 cinnamon stick

  1. Lash lots of ice into a cocktail shaker along with the whiskey, maple and cinnamon. pop on the top and give it a good shake (arm workout incoming).

  2. Fill a glass with ice and strain the shaker contents over this.

  3. Top with a load of fluff and make it all toasty using a blow torch.
