Breakfast in Dublin

Honestly, I’m always buzzed for breakfast. But, I don’t want something sweet. I want something savoury, tasty, So, Imma make it my mission to find tasty places for you guys too. Click the buzzer just below to find the reels I’ve done on these places.

Sister Ray

Sister ray, she’s in Rathmines and she’s LOVELY. Like, this café is so lovely, they door indoor dining again and take away. ALSO drumroll please. they do breakfast, savoury breakfast, tasty savoury breakfast. I got their breakfast burrito, now, I wish they did a veggie one too but the reg. one was delicious, it was a little spicy and it had avocado and you could just tell it was well made with good quality ingredients and I just really enjoyed it to be honest, with a delicious flat white. YUM. would recommend not just to a friend.

The Fumbally

Right now, there’s seating outside and if it’s sunny it’s one of the best spots to sit in Dublin, a wee sun trap.

You’ll get things like scrambled eggs with fresh tomatoes, beans on toast, it is a seasonal menu so it does change depending on what veg is available. they do porridge in the winter and during the summer their granola and yoghurt has been on and it’s a treat!

Two Boys Brew

Two boys brew is a place i’ve been to quite a bit, it’s the kind of café you could go to that you’d happily pop open the laptop and work away in. The menu changes slightly at the weekend and i’v had a few brunches here… ok quite a few. `You’ll get things like porridge with super yummy toppings, granola, corn fritters, oh her their hotcake (it’s heaven if you’re a fan of sweet stuff) and then the likes of chilli scrambled eggs and sure look what’s a cafe without avo on toast these days. I’d DEFINITELY recommend their chai though, chai or dirty chai.

Slice, Stoneybatter

Oh here, the eggs and greens. Pea and avocado guac, the sourdough, scrambled eggs, crispy kale, SO SO delicious. oh it had lemon creme fraiche also. it was just one of those brunches that hit the spot so i’d definitely recommend it. They’ve other options like shakshuka, granola and other bits and bobs too.

ALSO they switch up the menu a bit at the weekend and have some extra dishes on. I got the benny brownie, it was a hash brown eggs Benedict and just one of the most delicious breakfast I’ve had. heavenly.

Hatch, Blackrock

If you want some simple, yummy, breakfast options, here you go. ‘shrooms on toast, avo toast, waffle, they’re all yummy. you can eat in or get take out. I’m definitely more of a savoury girl but if you want some sweet treats they’ve so many decent choices, bread 41 pastries, cookies, the hatch swirl, sure look, you’re sorted! Slowly but surely working my way through their menu.
