Sligo

Honestly, there’s so many places I still need to go. Sligo is wide spread, from Easkey (Pudding Row) right up to Mullaghmore + Sligo town in between. there’s coffee carts, cafés and restaurants that I need to show off to you guys.

Pudding row

This place, it’s top of the list for a reason. The place to go if you want a tasty treat, lunch or snack. Whatever they do, they do it well. what I would say however is that their sausage rolls aren't warm so don’t get caught by surprise with those. Here, their vegan squash bagel, oh my, it’s good. they make their bagels in house, they’re not the crunchy type, they’re soft and squidy and super fresh.

If you fancy something sweet, get anything, or everything. But I got their perfect (look they are ok, look + taste) caramel slice + sure look it was just great.

Their coffee is delicious too, they use: Ariosa

Sweet Beat

Lads, go here. Their breakfast is so great, I didn’t have their lunch but I can imagine it’s super tasty too. I got one of their vegan treats, I don’t know what it was if i’m honest but it was great sure. When we went they did have outdoor seating + it was so cute sitting beside their super colourful walls beside the river.

Milligram Coffee

If you’re getting coffee in Sligo, wait, even if you’re getting anything in sligo, go get your food wherever but get your coffee here. I love that these guys want to bring great coffee to the west. Lads, their shop is so cute too when we went the window was full of flowers, not sure if this is a year round thing or not but I loved it. They do some treats too FYI.

Baker Boy

Their coffee, it’s yummy. I got their almond croissant, if you like soft croissants with a kind of cake like texture, this is the one for you. They do, do food also but we weren’t there on that day. they also do fresh Orange juice that I full on drool over on their instagram, I’d LOVE it right now.

Shells

The sister to Baker boy. It’s in Strandhill + overlooks the sea. I got to try their fish, they use a more sustainable option than cod which I love, it’s called cobbler. I love that, so interesting eh. They have a wide variety of options on their menu though. Sambos, soup, salads, burgers. Also, they do coffee and treats too.
