Wexford
It’s home for me. I love it here. It’s not so much about the food for me when I’m home but the places, the beaches, the people. BUT I love food, I do, and if you’ve found your way to this page, you must too. So, I’ve searched for the best places for you guys to eat. I’ll keep adding to the list as I go.
Crust Pizza
These Crust pizzas are really great. This one you can see below is their Mushroom Deluxe: Toonsbridge mozzarella, mushrooms, smoked black ham, thyme, crushed garlic and truffle oil. It was €12.50.
Grálinn
Fethard-On-Sea is so super close to Wexford town where you’ll find, only my FAVOURITE café, Grálinn, it’s so cute. the owners Matheos and Dee are the best kind of people. So sweet and of course they make the most delicious food. at the weekend they’ve hand pies on the menu. You’ll need to check in with them for their opening hours and days as they do change into winter and with covid sure ya know yourself,
Premier
The premier takeaway in Wexford town, if you go here you HAVE to get the rissole, battered. but, their chips, oh their chips + also their tiny mini battered sausages are super tasty. trust me.
104 S Main St, Whitewell, Wexford, Y35 H63F
Scúp Gelato
These guys have their container on the quay in Wexford Town. But, if you’re in love with what they do as much as I am, you’ll find them in so many other places around the country. Here’s a few below:
Sandycove store and yard
Little Forest, Blackrock
Fallon and Byrne.
the flavours you HAVE to try are: wexford strawberry, pistachio bronté (my favourite) and their sorbets are all so so unreal. oh their salted caramel ice cream too. Jesus they’re all delicious.
