Sticky Soy Tofu Bowl.

All I need.

I just want foods that taste delicious, that’s green + well, yum.

This tofu reminds me of the Shaka poke tofu that I just love. We don’t get to stop that often for lunch, but when we do, we get Shaka. let there be no more post lunch pasta slumps.

1 tbsp sunflower oil

400g tofu, diced

2 garlic cloves,  thinly sliced

Chunk ginger, finely sliced

2 tbsp light soy sauce

2 tbsp rice vinegar

50ml hoisin

1 tbsp honey

Put the oil in the pan over a medium heat. Press the tofu a little in kitchen paper to remove a little of the moisture. Add the tofu and fry until super crispy, make sure you get all sides. Stir the ginger through this, give it a little sniff of the pan.

Stir through the soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin and honey. Let it blip there for a minute. It’ll be super sticky and glossy. Coat the tofu in this.

Serve it on top of whatever you like. I love to create a sort of poké bowl. Bit of rice, bit of beans. Something pickled is delish here too.
