Egg white Skinny pancakes.
These are probably the easiest god damn pancakes you’ll make.
Egg whites, oats. that’s it.
A non stick pan is your guardian angel here.
For ages I told myself I couldn’t have pancakes, they were too high in carbs and I wasn’t getting enough protein in for the macros. BUT let there no more be mornings without pancakes. the are so handy and I love that I can eat them, without having guilt.
I topped mine with sugar and lemon. because, it’s my favourite. But as you can see, Halo ice cream + thin fulfil bar slivers are a super serious win for these also.
Makes 4 skinny guys.
Low cal oil spray
50g oats
200ml egg whites
Spritz the pan with low cal oil spray. A flavourless one like sunflower oil is best.
Blitz the oats in a nutribullet. Add the whites and blitz again to combine.
Heat a non stick pan to a high heat. Spritz with the oil spray.
Pour enough mix into the pan to cover most of the base, swirl so it coats the rest. cook until bubbles appear and then flip. It’ll be golden, each side will take about 30 seconds. Repeat to get 4 in total, I guess though this will depend on the size of your pan too.
Top with whatever and how much you like. Sugar + lemon is a win for me.
